COVID Vaccination

COVID Vaccination

Our GP’s recommend all patients receive the COVID vaccine when they are eligible.

WHAT VACCINATION WILL I RECEIVE?

Our practice administers both the AstraZeneca and Pfizer COVID vaccines. Bookings are essential. When booking, you will be asked a series of questions which will determine which vaccine you are eligible for. Click HERE to book.

AM I ELIGIBILE?

Use the COVID-19 vaccine eligibility checker to find out when you can receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

CAN I HAVE MY FLU VACCINE AT THE SAME TIME?

No, the minimum interval between a dose of seasonal flu vaccine and a dose of any COVID-19 vaccine is 7 days.

WHEN SHOULD I HAVE MY 2nd COVID VACCINE?

The recommended interval between the first and second COVID dose for Pfizer is 3 weeks and for AstraZeneca 10-12 weeks.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

There is no fee, the vaccine is government funded.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE MEDICARE?

People who are not eligible for Medicare, for example a temporary resident, will need to attend a state- or territory-run vaccination clinic to get their COVID-19 vaccines.

HOW TO GET PROOF OF YOUR COVID VACCINE:

Once you’ve had a COVID-19 vaccine, we will record it on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). You can get proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status with an immunisation history statement.
