Rokeby GP is focused on providing our patients with an array of specialised, diverse services all the under the comfort and convenience of the one practice roof.

Please arrive 5 minutes early to your first appointment and bring your Medicare card. If you do not have a Medicare card, please bring photograph identification.

Do I need to register as a new patient at Rokeby GP?

Yes. It’s easy to do. Download the New Patient Registration Form above, or collect one from reception at Rokeby GP.

How early do I need to arrive ahead of my appointment?

Please arrive at least five minutes prior to your appointment. The necessary documentation needs to be processed before your appointment with the doctor. At Rokeby GP we aim to keep waiting times to a minimum and appreciate your punctuality to help our practice run on schedule.

What must I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your Medicare Card or photographic identification such as a passport or an Australian driver’s licence.

Please also bring your next-of-kin and emergency contact details (telephone, mobile and email).

How much will I be charged for my appointment or consultation?

Rokeby GP is a private billing practice. Accounts must be paid at the end of a consultation. Our reception staff can assist you to claim your Medicare rebate.
A $15 discount applies to children 11 years and under on weekdays only, we do not provide discounts for Healthcare card holders or Pensioners.

Please note that surcharges apply for weekend consults Saturday morning $15, Saturday afternoon $55 and Sundays $105.

Nurse appointments incur a nursing fee, this includes childhood scheduled vaccinations. For the cost of all other procedures including excisions, iron infusions and contraception fittings/removals please contact reception.

Will I receive a SMS reminder prior to my appointment time?

Yes, you will receive a reminder text if you have a valid and current mobile number on record. 

 

Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes. You can cancel your appointment by ringing Rokeby GP on 9381 4880. Please be aware that a minimum two hours notice is required to avoid a late-cancellation fee.

How will I find out about test results?

The doctors at Rokeby GP review a huge number of results every day. If your results are within the normal range you will not be contacted.

If your test results come back as abnormal you will be contacted.
If the result is urgent, you will be contacted via phone.
If it is not urgent but requires follow-up, you will be contacted via email.

Where can I park to visit Rokeby GP?

There are plenty of two and three hour free public car parks close to our surgery, behind the buildings on either side of Rokeby Road. Please note that in some locations you will need to take a complimentary ticket from the ticket machine. This includes ACROD parking. Please find a parking map here.
